City Of Corona
I created a strategy that pioneered a brand identity in the modern real estate lending landscape.
The Challenge
A city with over a century of heritage, the City of Corona, sought to revitalize its brand to reflect its community’s strength and values. I had the privilege of partnering with them to create an engaging identity, helping to unify local neighborhoods and support the city’s exciting improvements while honoring its tight-knit community spirit.
I began rebranding Corona, aligning with a new strategic vision plan. With a focus on the city’s strong economy, expanding areas, infrastructure, and amenities, my goal was to create a brand that resonates with employees, neighbors, prospective residents, and visitors.
The Solution
To revitalize the City of Corona, I conducted research and engaged over 2,200 employees and residents. The new branding, centered on family values and the message “You Belong Here,” features a simplified logo. The design incorporates the town circle, crown, and mountains, reflecting the city’s heritage and symbolizing its strength and vision for the future.
The new identity expresses vibrancy and community spirit through a carefully curated color palette and a modern classic typeface inspired by the city’s citrus heritage. The logomark, paired with a modern classic illustrative seal, focuses on heritage while narrating the city’s story from its inception to the present.
The Results
Corona stands out in the Inland Empire as a beacon of new growth, boasting a bolder, unified, modern image.
